RQM is developing and distributing miniaturized Personal Locator Devices (or Personal Tracking Devices) Initially, the manufacturing of our devices will be subcontracted, while we develop the supporting software and systems internally, although we plan to manufacture our products in-house in future years. Our proprietary military-inspired technology (patents filed for) allows our devices to be used anywhere on the planet, regardless of whether cellular towers are present. They are small and easily programmable, which makes them unique. Our systems are flexible enough to be tailored by each end user to meet their specific needs.
Market
Our primary target markets include but aren’t limited to the family consumer and channel sales to original equipment makers (OEMs), businesses tracking vehicles or shipments, the military, and political leaders. Due to our unique programming capabilities for each unit, we have received indications from several target markets, including one U.S. Military branch.
Our systems are sure to appeal to families concerned for the safety of their family members. Unfortunately, child abductions are on the rise worldwide. More than 2,100 children are reported missing each day in the U.S. alone (FBI National Crime Information Center). On the other end, there are 4.5million Alzheimer patients in the U.S. 60% of whom wander off their homes unaware of their surroundings at one point or another. Our devices can potentially save lives, and we believe they will reduce both of these figures.
The combined number of “potential” customers for our products is well over 500,000,000; we will focus on a more realistic and attainable three-year sales goal of roughly 99,000 users worldwide, which will generate many millions of dollars in sales revenues.
Management
The founders of RQM Technologies, Steven M. Bloome and Andrew F. Siska, have been associates for over 20 years; they create the perfect synergy to ensure the success of our company. Steven M. Bloome is an experienced Sales and Marketing Management professional with over 25 years’ experience. He has worked with companies in win-win partnerships and created a national presence. He is also an expert at launching new products. Andrew F. Siska, a Chief Engineer, has 20 years of experience in the field. He is considered an expert because he has previously designed devices for military applications and medical imaging systems.
